John-Richard brings global inspiration for bespoke interiors to High Point Market.
April 5, 2013 – The John-Richard design team has traveled the globe in search of inspiration. Following historical and cultural influences, they have fashioned for your viewing distinctive, artisan-crafted accessories, furniture, lighting, mirrors, wall art, and botanicals that leave enduring impressions. Zebrano wood, hand-applied gold leaf combined with white marble, malachite, black onyx, and smoked gresard are but a few of the ingredients culminating in updated designs that eclipse the marketplace.
According to Alan Galbraith, president of John-Richard, “we sink or swim by our creativity. Design is the heart of John-Richard, and our elegant collections feature superior craftsmanship, exquisite design, definitive luxury, and exceptional value.” All of these elements will become obvious as you view the products included in this release.
Providence Two Door Cabinet:
The carcass is inset with black glass panels, contrasting with Zebrano doors in matched quartered patterns. The brass sliding bolts act as handles and are engraved to reflect the Zebrano patterns.
Zebra Modern Mission Floor Lamp:
This modern floor lamp boast zebra print ultra suede with mahogany toned wood grain and rubbed silver accents.
The Muse by Youngson:
This original oil sketch of a human face is highlighted by soft brush strokes of color. The tilt of the shapes brings interest to the piece, floated in a wood molding with custom Nantucket gray finish.
This piece is an elegant draping of crystal beaded roping and scrolling brass arms that rise from a very heavy optical crystal and brass base.
Nature is an omnipresent inspiration for the decorative arts. The classic Luxembourg mirror, designed by Florence de Dampierre, has very special hand carved leaf designs, enhanced with soft antiqued gold leaf.
