August 1, 2012, Montevallo, Ala.- Summer Classics®, an indoor and outdoor furniture manufacturer and retailer based in Montevallo, Ala., announced the promotion of three executive-level employees.
The company announced today, July 26, 2012, that Harold Hudson will become the Senior Vice President of National Accounts. Jeremy Rago will become, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and Keith Norton, Vice President of Operations, will add management of the Customer Service Department to his duties.
“Harold has been with Summer Classics for 19 years and is an industry veteran,” said Bew White, President of Summer Classics®.
“He has already sold many of our key accounts for years in both the United States and abroad,” White said.
In his new role, Hudson will be devoted full-time to continuing the development of National Accounts and Master Retailers for Summer Classics® and Parker James®.
“The growth in national accounts at Summer Classics® has been substantial, and we feel he is the right person to sustain that initiative. Harold will be able to take Summer Classics to the next level with his new role in the company,” White said.
Hudson served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the last 17 years, and Jeremy Rago, formerly National Sales Manager, will assume this role.
“Jeremy has been a great asset to Summer Classics® for the last seven years. with two years as a factory sales representative, and the last five in management,” Hudson said.
As the new Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Jeremy Rago will become responsible for the wholesale dealer base, designers, showrooms and sales representatives.
“Jeremy will do a great job in this role, and I have been very fortunate to develop great relationships with our dealer base and designer customers for the last several years,” Hudson said. “I will miss the daily interaction but know they are in great hands with Jeremy.”
Customer Service will now report to Keith Norton, Vice President of Operations. Norton will be over all domestic and international customer service and the department.
“Keith has been with Summer Classics® for two years, has made tremendous improvements in our operations area, and will now bring his expertise to customer service.” White said.
“I’m excited about the added responsibilities, and am looking forward to being involved with customers at Summer Classics,” Norton said.
“This will be a great opportunity for me to be able to concentrate on and advance the company’s goals, and continue to advance Summer Classics® as a leader in the outdoor furniture industry,” Norton said.
